Well - The car is at the body shop
Yo, I;m a lil freakin pissed. $1000 is the MAX anyone should pay for this! I have a MORE expensive shop where I bring my personal car for them to work on and it will cost me $800 painted and installed without a bit of bargaining. EVERYONE says these bumpers fit AMAZING! ALL body shops state that this is the BEST fitting bumpers. Modifications are cut some foam and liners. U should also have them speak to me!
I can also politely ask them if they want to refer their business to my body shops AND I'll be able to make a HUGE profit along with gas/tolls/lodging for anybody coming from Pittsburg to NYC. $1750!!!

John. Thanks, you are right...We will see what the final bill is now that I had them talk to joe and I have complained. Also, I am ready to do full lighting next week on Monday night, are you available for the install? I can't get there until about 7-8 p.m. because of traffic in NYC.
As for the inserts, I am taking my stock Kidney grilles apart and using the chrome edged insert in the middle inside my new flat black grilles. Someone on the forum did this and I felt like it looked really cool especially since I have the m6 machined face on the side of the car. I will have pictures tomm, the car is getting everything painted today and then installed etc tomm. I pick the car up at 4 p.m. est.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Pretty much all reps do that, it doesn't bother me. If it bothers you there are 2 options: 1) Have them insert a piece of hard foam in the part that is bowed up before they install - this will help it straighten out; 2) Get a splitter, Trinity will soon have a splitter for these bumpers and you'll see the first one as soon as they do - on my car
After reading your posts about the install pricing you were having i spent all day today driving around MN and get install pricing cos i'm gonna be doing the same mod next month..I have been quoted btwn 400-700 tops. From what i hear the kits are direct fitments with little modification if any so paying $1800 is a little too high, you might as well have gone the stealership route.
Images of clear coat, last part before, wetsanding and installation...Actually looking really good...
I will post final pictures tomm. and let everyone know what happened with pricing.
