would i be best gettin the module from a bmw garage r off ebay ? and how do u code it in to the ? thakz for the reply bruce would any 1 who knows how to fit the lm2 module and know how to code it fancy doin it on mine lol wiling to pay cheers guys

hi guys thankz for all your replys over the welcome lights iv finally got to the bottom of it .Iv found a local garage that can do it and a guy off youtube who can put in all the right coding for its goin to cost around the £500 pound mark oops but will well worth it cheers guys

Sorry to revive this old thread but the statement above is quite relevant to my current question. I have a pre-LCI E60 built in 01/06, so theoretically it should have the LMA1 (not 2). However, in my FSW_PSW.TRC file, I can see all of the Welcome Light parameters (currently set to nicht_aktiv) and also the Angel Eye DRL parameters, all of which should only be available on the LM2. Every single one of them is present. Does this mean I have an LM2 in my car, or can those parameters be there (but inactive) even on the LM1? Is there any way to check whether my LMA is 1 or 2?

I get up welcomligts in idriven I've Mask I stands for the icon but it does not work!! the same functions as before only
I have a e60 built 2006 02 I have changed LM1 TO LM2 I have coded on the new LM2 updated the software in it but it works the same as my old LM1 no new features that welcomlights
Ilevel on my car is E60-12-11-500

Have tried to code like this but it is not possible to encode
