I'm new here and this is the first time I'm installing these. I just received my WeissLicht kit from Bimmian and it seems that only one of the halos is actually lit on my 08 535i. Has anyone else experienced this? Was I supposed to order two kits?

Thanks in advanced
-Matt

Can you post pictures so we know what you mean? It is suppose to be one bulb for each side.

if you mean that one bulb on the passenger and one bulb for the driver's sides lights 2 halos per side..then yes that is normal...but if you mean only one halo lights up per side and everything is installed correctly, perhaps it's the design of the weisslicht...I'm surprised that kit did not throw an error code, IIRC: that kit is not compatible for lci e60's

I'll reinstall the kit and take pics. In the mean time What I meant was the outside halos on both sides are not lighting up with the kit installed. Did anyone have to change the the screw positions on the kit?

I changed it to whatever screw position the instructions said to use. Returned them due to error messages they threw.

Ah, so these do throw error codes on e60's then? OP, can you confirm/deny this as well?

I tried two WeissLicht V2 halos with error messages with both. However, I have read in several other threads where some guys had no trouble with them while others did.

When you install these, you have to rotate them until BOTH Angel Eye rings are illuminated! I have these installed currently WITH error messages, and they insist they are working on this problem with the manufacturer and that it is a rare occurrence! My patience is running thin!
