Thumbs up

I have just over 400 miles on my 535xi and it started doing something weird a couple days ago. I am stopped at a light with the brake pedal engaged... when I take my foot off the brake it sort of does that manual transmission "roll back". It's very slight but still feels like it shouldn't be happening. Is this normal? Or at least normal during the break-in period?

That's never happened to me. Weird... I would have it looked at.

Thats bad and wierd... Should not be like this. I'm in my breakin period and it never does that, but actually does try to move forward if I loosen the brakes a little (standard stuff on idle engine auto power).... Just make sure you weren't on a slope when this happened !

I've got over 8500 miles on my 535xi and I am having the same problem. It doesn't do it all the time, but often enough to get your attention at times. I also have an intermitent hesitation when starting from a stop sign. It isn't the engine. It feels like it starts in 2nd and imediately shifts down to 1st. Most of the time it is very smooth, so this seems to be something to possibly have looked at. Has anyone had a similar problem and had the dealer check on it?
