I heard this weird noise coming from the rear tire after I parked my car tonight. I originally thought it was a tire going out on me, but thank goodness it wasn't. I analyzed it for 5 mins and the noise wouldn't go away. Finally re-started and turn off the car and the noise was gone. Maybe tpm sensor? Any ideas??

Tell us more about the weird noise. You thought it was a tire going down, so maybe a loud hissing? Electronic in any way? More info would help.

Hey I had the same thing a few nights ago! I parked in the garage, shut off and then walked around the car from the backside and noticed a sort of a buzzing sound coming from the rear passenger side suspension area. I think it's got something to do with the electronics, but I wasn't really worried or anything. Of course it went away after a while but I'm sure it's nothing serious.

My car does this too, every night after I park it in my garage. It's normal. Nothing to worry about. This is what happens when you have a car that's run by a computer. It makes all these funny sounds as it shuts down, restarts and computes it's next move. All we need is the flux capacitor and 1.21 jiga watts and we're set.

Allright guys, good to know that this is not uncommon. It was just alarming when the noise was continuous and wouldn't go away until I restarted the car. Will follow-up if it happens again. Thanks!

Hey, I think I experienced the same noise a few weeks ago. It wasn't a hissing noise, more like something was adjusting. Mine was from the right rear tire. It didn't last too long, but loud enough to catch the attention of my passengers getting out. I also thought it was a blown tire. Hasn't happen again.
