So I get in my car to leave work today and my door chime sound funny. It chimes a couple times then stops then starts again. sometimes the chime gets interrupted in the middle of the sound. Almost sounded like a loose ground or bad connection. Then I start the car and my idrive is not working it shows the BMW message the goes real bright then goes off. Then starts the whole thing over again. I?m driving a few miles and the idrive starts working and it's fine the rest of the way home. I shut the car off and start it again same thing. So I am sitting on the computer with the door open doing some searching for the symptoms on the web when all of a sudden door chime sounds normal. I start the car and the idrive is fine. I let it sit a couple hours and go back out and try again same problem.
Anyone ever heard of this? I have found lots of posts on idrive problems but haven?t found anyone saying it is effecting the door chime.

I took a video if anyone wants to see it.
