Hi guys,

I have recently had my mechatronics module replaced in my 04 530d. Learning process took a long time (1500km sofar) but its getting better.

One thing i keep noticing is that when i pull away and when it is in 3rd gear, the speedo keeps climbing like it should but the revs counter stands still or sometimes even drops back 50rpm for a brief moment.
It happends for like 10 to 20km/u acceleration and then the revcounter suddenly climbs along with the speed. I dont feel anything weird though, i only see and hear the engine staying at same revs while car is accelerating.

Is this normal behavior or is something slipping? (which will cause gearbox issues again in the future?)
It also did this before i had the mechatronics replaced by the way.
