Okay, I have a 2006 525i n52 engine, streptonic, has 102k miles, and it has been driving kind of weird, and the rpms would pulse while driving. I replaced the spark plugs, did oil change, replaced maf, cleaned vanos solenoids and did a transmission drain and fill. I have no check engine lights. It does it in both drive in every gear, and in neutral or park.
Here is a video of me holding the gas pedal dead steady, and you can see the fluctuation, same thing happens in drive, and I can feeling the pulsing. Any ideas?

If you have INPA, check and see if any of the engine parameters are in the red zone (while the engine is running). Fuel trim values, O2 sensor info, etc.

Okay, I'll check it, thanks. Could it be the ccv?

While the engine is running, carefully remove the oil filler cap and see if there is any change in the engine performance.

I changed both vanos solenoids and it's completely perfect now, in case anyone else has the same problem.

did you throw away the old solenoids? I want to see if I can test and understand how/why they are failing.
