Weigh In -- Thinking of trading the 550 in for X6 35

I put a down payment on loaded 09 x6 35i...

$71 MSRP for $56k
Trade in lease on 08 550i for 09 X6...About $3k oop to keep payment within $100 of each other...
I really need a utility vehicle in the family and this seems like a nice way have my cake and eat it too...i know the X6 is a very polarizing vehicle, but the financials on that vehicle right now are as good as I've ever seen em and my wife and I really like the looks, ride, drive and utility...
PS -- are the hpfp issues resolved on 09's??
PSS -- I'm going to have a killer nice set of 18" Winter Wheels/tires available if I do this deal.

I like the X6, but I would never ever swap my 550 for one. Then again I don't need a SUV. Any thoughts of getting the X6 with the TTV8?

Rick, the X6 is not an SUV it's a 4 seater with limited rear cargo space. If you truly need an SUV, get an X5.
BTW, if you do dump the 550, contact member chowbox/sean locally to sell him your winter setup. PM me and I'll shoot you his #.

That's a totally different financial picture...
Love the 50, but that's a really, really price deal...

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
I am in a different situation, my wife has an SUV so thankfully I was able to sell mine and get my 5er. That said, I would still prefer the X5, it has greater utility you seek and equal performance (plus better looks - have you seen C's?)

Me too...The x6 35 is not a 550, but it was far from a slouch and got me to 80 plenty friggin fast...Xdrive in Minny is not a bad deal either
