#9 is the positive, #10 is the negative for your LED

Btw, I did that mode to my 06 530xi E61 and I have to say - it's amazing!
Made the steering much heavier and the gearbox much more responsive and nervous, it made for quicker changes as well !
All in all a great mod !
PS: it does use 6th gear but only above 70mph

hi guys,

New to this forum but been looking at installing this mod for a while.

I drive a 2007 520d se auto lci.

Im just abit confused about the pins which you insert the switch in.

on this forum it says pins 7 and 9 on other forums it says 8 and 10 for the lci model.

can someone please clarify this?

and also which pins for the led switch?

Thanks

8&10 for pre-LCI and 7&9 for LCI.

anyone got this to work on a 2005 530i? or any pce LCI for that matter?. I got the sport to show on my instrument cluster but I don't have any tighter steering (I have active steering option on the car) nor did I feel quicker shifts or responsiveness.

I got the wire from roskinc, and as stated in this thread connected it to the 8 and 10.

thanks

I've put it in an 05 525i and can honestly feel a difference, maybe you've not connected the pins or their must be something else going on. But if sport shows up then it should've worked. I don't know otherwise what could be your case :/

...

You have to concentrate and focus on the outcome you wish to see...
You will eventually see it.

Few questions Please

1 how do i know if im pre -LCI and what is it ?

2 if i dont have an "M" type would it be aceptable to use that m button to toggle it?

Thanks for all the information in this thread.

I have a 2009 LCI E60 530d (AT) and I'm considering adding this Sport button as well as doing the SAT flash.
