How to access A169 box in lci cars? Yes, its behind glove box but any instructions would be appreciated! No lci diy pics sent yet.

I too am an LCI owner and would love the sport function without having to spend hundreds on the SAT setup. I really just want the throttle and steering improvements. After reading end to end in this thread I haven't seen a single LCI success story. Did I miss something?

It's on the diagram in post #1 pic 4 and also post #17 ... only 3 wires out of the 4 pins are in use ...

It's already in the diagram by the OP ... and even in some earlier posts.

Here's in case it's confusing for some ... pin # on the FDC switch on the left side & pin # on the dash switch block on the right side:

#1 - #9 (LED)
#2 - #10 (Ground)
#3 - #8 (signal)
#4 - N/A

I'll use a multimeter to see which one temporarily shorts for 8 and 10 pin and which one for the LED.

I am still trying to figure out the difference between this and DS, anyone care to comment on that?

-throttle is re-mapped to be more aggressive
-steering requires more input force for same amount of turning
-auto shifting points=DS

Roskinc, I think that account is a troll. 3 of his 5 posts say the same thing and the other 2 seemed to come out of nowhere.
