Ever since I have owned my car the seats have shown signs of staining with the slightest hint of water going anywhere near them . They are now badly stained but BMW say that its not a manufacturing defect . Has anyone else experienced this ? And how do they go about solving it ? Lets hope I get some useful suggestions

Do you have a sunroof? Is your headliner stained at all? If you have a sunroof and the headliner is stained as well, the drain plugs are backed up and the water is leaking into the car - staining the seats.
