Water in Microfilter cassing

My Ride: F11 535i M-Sport,, Silver, Black Leather, LED Adaptive headlights

decided to check the microfilters at the weekend, now bearing in mind it has not rained in my part of the UK in 4 weeks, I was surprised to find a pool of water in the plastic tray holding the microfilters.
Anybody else found water there?

That area drains out the side and out near the wheel. Their is a rubber flap that will clog with leaves, pine needles, etc and it must be checked especially if you park in those kinds of areas.
This also contributes in many threads where many ask about wet carpet in the front. If that area over-flows, the water can enter the air inlet for HVAC. You can see the flapper and motor when you look down in there.
