I just washed my car with the CA key in my pocket. Every time the water from the hose hits the door handles, the car lock/unlocks. Kinda funny...but also annoying. Anyone else saw this?

Yep. Still better than some of the CA keys I've seen out there where you only need to be next to your car for it to open. In those cases leaving they keys near the car in the garage would drain the battery.

Yea, I've noticed this too - when I'm sponging the car, every time I touch and then retouch the car, the doors lock and then unlock. Have to remove key from pocket.

I also hear the brake pads compressing and releasing (for the auto dry feature I suppose) - they keep doing it even with the car off after you get the calipers wet. So you have to make sure you give the car a quick run to dry the brakes off after washing (a good idea anyway).

Just don't keep the key in your pocket when you wash your car...

Kind of a funny problem but I can also understand the small problem it causes.

Just leve the key in the ignition, I suppose...

If you question whether this is annoying or not, just picture washing the wagon version - when the tailgate goes up while you're hosing! Happened to me the first time I washed the car. :'(
