37 degrees in South Florida this AM (wind chill = 28 degrees)
Hey you guys,
This AM turned the car on and drove off for about 2 minutes. I got a warning sign "triangle with a snowflake inside" do you know what is that??? I don't have my manual with me and thought that you folks up north got this message before...
Thanks.

37 deg or lower and you will get that sign and a warning chime...it's the temp that water freezes so it's possible there might be ice on the road...drive safe...
as always... a quick search will get you the info you need...

BMW really should have tried harder to make their warning signs more intuitive. The combination of the world wide known symbol for "warning" (the triangle), and the obvious symbol to represent "cold weather" (the snowflake) clearly isn't obvious enough
Get your act together BMW guys !!

In all fairness I was a bit surprised when I saw it this morning, but then I looked over at the screen and saw the frost warning and remembered. I don't think I ever saw it on my E39s, but it would have shown a message on the cluster.
