Enlighten us. I'm not a Sublime fan (not even really sure who they are.) So what is the connection/trick?

is there any way to either turn off the audio or quiten down the warning bong??
its driving me mad
at the moment im getting warning bongs for seatbelt/bulb out (led's) and speed limit exceeded, now i want to keep the warning info but need to quiten down the chime.

im fitting resisters to cure the constant bulb out chimes but want the limit and seat belt lights, but dont like the bong/chime.
any ideas?
I know that on my wifes Smax you can turn off the bongs by inserting the seat belt 9 times in succession (same to reinstate them), tried this on the e60 but no luck. Must be some function to remove the bongs to allow delivery drivers to move cars around docks etc..... anyone???

Did anyone else here read the title of this thread and think it was about something ELSE???
Unfortunately, the answer is the same for both "bongs"....you can't eliminate the sound...

i disagree.. it doesn't come from any of the actual speakers.. i've checked that already i think it's a dedicated speaker somewhere.
However, I finally started actually using my seatbelt so maybe it is more of a feature than a bug

If dealer has the knowledge, can delete the seat belt chime completely through GT1 diagnostic system. It's a pre-selected option from the factory
