I'm looking to swap out the stock suspension on my 2008 E60 for a sport suspension and am looking for recommendations on sites/sources where I can buy used parts. Checked ebay but would appreciate any suggestions that others on this site might offer. Thanks.

Its just a matter of time before someone replaces their suspension and puts their sports suspension up for sale. Definitely wanna check back everyday, they do go fast. Good luck with search.

What is it about the sport suspension are you desiring? I did the swap and honestly, I regret not going straight to H&R's with a set of Koni's. If cost woudn't have been an issue, I would have just gone with coilovers.

I debated this and decided on the H&R springs. Honestly - I was expecting obviously a harsher ride but DAMN!! After approx 10k miles the ride is almost unbearable. It's f'ing rough is an understatement. Don't get me wrong the look and stance is beautiful but I'm really debating if the trade off is worth it. I do still have the stock struts (I'm sure that's contributing) but they are not bottoming out yet. I'm really torn as to what do next... I am considering coil overs but have been told that the ride from coil overs is even harsher (I can't image that be the case). I live in CT where the roads aren't perfect but they are certainly not NYC roads. As a matter of fact I was traveling to Boston last week and hit the pothole from hell - bent 2 wheels and actually cracked one that was fortunately repaired. I'm sure if I had the stock set up and not the 19's I would have been fine but I guess it's the price we pay.
***any suggestions out there????

Did you install the active roll stabilization system as well?

Stock sport springs are awsome, the lower the car just right and you still have a oh so smooth ride, I love mine!

Question: ARS is not compatible with sport suspension system ... is that true ?
I have been playing around the BMW.co.uk - build your BMW section and was not permitted to configure a car with ARS plus M sport suspension.

Do you mean that you have changed only the spring but not the damper?

Confirmed, my 08 535i also has ARS and sport suspension and 3 ultra racing bars.
