The iPhone/iPod interface on e60's is way better quality than BT.

When i try to use my aux input, the system hum, even when nothing is connected to the aux. When I plug the wire to it, it makes static noises as a bad connection. Anyone run into this issue?

I've bought this and its great..... specially when it only cost around 10-12 bucks, the sounds quality is amazing, i also bought the USB cig charger for about 2 bucks all on amazon. Plug it up under the passanger footwell cig port, ran the wire to the AUX port in the back, start the car and searched for the device and that was it, bluetooth audio streaming! now i can connect any bluetooth device to the vehicle for audio..

search amazon for
-Evergreat Technology USB bluethooth Audio Music Receiver Adapter
-Dual port usb car charger adapter with socket

Im not sure if its just me but i get a lose in audio quality with the bluetooth adapters for music. I have the L7 sound system and when i use the AUX with the wire it sounds great but when i stream through bluetooth i dont get the same amount of bass. I like the Blue Trip i have but just doesnt sound the same.

That's exactly the case with Bluetooth, it doesn't have the bandwidth to deliver audio at high quality, it wasn't meant for that.
Some people however don't care about quality, so this solution is perfect for them.

I think maybe when they get better versions of BT like 5.0 or something the audio quality will increase. For right now the cable and AUX works for me or uncompressed cd/dvd audio. The L7 sound spoiled me :-)

Only XM radio is bringing a full spectrum of sound on L7 stereo system.

I don't have a USB or AUX port in my car, so are these the two things I would need to stream Pandora off my iPhone through BT? or will I still need to run a AUX wire?
