Wife just walked in and asked "why are you playing your radio so loud?" I'm like "what are you talking about, you can't play the radio without the key being in the ignition." Silly me - the thing is blasting all by itself. Have to insert the key, turn on the car, then turn it off. Great, another unadvertised feature. . .

Did you turn off the stereo before pulling out the key?

I had that, but had to remove the fuse (15 in the glove box) to reset it. Only happened once. Still an awesome car though.

OMG, I don't believe this! Day before yesterday, the same thing happened to me. Came out from work and radio blasting. I probably had it on when I removed the key but didn't recall. That's not a valid reason though why it would do this. This had never occurred before and is somewhat disconcerting. The only thing different in my routine that day is that I visited the car twice that day to get something out of the glove box. The key was never put back in the ignition but the key was needed to a) open the car (remote) and to unlock the glove box.

Ok, I'll say it: this is bizzare and unacceptable behavior from our babies!

How freaky, since I had gone into the trunk to get my putter out (I have a little "putting buddy" in my office) of my golf bag. The music started sometime after that.

I wonder if we can establish a pattern?

To my knowledge, it was some version of CIP 12.x. I'm sure that the CIP will be updated to the very latest rev next week when the service tech takes another shot at programming my TCU for the v60.

From looking at the posts it seems that most of this is happening to 545's in the US, is it that way?

Also, how many times has it happened to each person?

It's happened once and I'm running 11.2, I think. It hasn't been updated since my delivery 5/14.
