In the netherlands it wasn't an option and I retrofitted it (the dealer did actually). At the last pricelist I noticed there is an extended voicecontrol option for 600 euros..

Rami,

If you have the two buttons then you have extended voice control. Also you can operate the voice control from the steering wheel button provided you have the option otherwise its just the phone.

Enjoy it when you get it

I don't understand: i've got the Nav pro, bluetooth, highline executive options.
But do I have voice commands then?
I don't have the button under the I-drive but I do have the steering wheel button. But when i press it nothing happens on my screen (there should be a voice command symbol or something)

If i want to retrofit it, is this an SW update only?

After pushing the voice button, you should get a short delay and then your car should beep at you after which it expects to hear a voice command. I don't know if you have voice command or not. I don't think it is just a matter of software, but could easily be wrong.

You can only have the extended voice option with Nav Pro.

The button on the steering wheel is for Bluetooth voice commands only where no extended voice is fitted otherwise it works in the same way as the centre console button.

I thought you had to have the button in the centre of the car, however member Flowerfred has succesfully retrofitted ext voice but not sure if the centre button was also retrofitted.

With the retrofit VR do you get the centre button or do you just have the std s/wheel button?
