My voice activation system worked flawlessly for about a month. I was taking my daughter for her first ride in my car and wanted to show her the voice activation. As soon as I selected it and went to give a command, my typical 17 year old son started to yell incoherent mumbo jumbo. Ever since, the voice activation not only doesn't " understand my commands" but randomly selects whatever he's in the mood for, from navagation to weather band to just about anything he's capable of except what I'm requesting. My questions are: If I kill him will I go to jail, and does he need a shrink or some type of reprogramming?

The rest of the car has chosen to communicate with me in English which I have to say I prefer. I guess my grandchildren might get beemers with Polish if they're lucky...

Chris,
I think he meant his "voice command" guy in the car. Not his son.

In my eyes it's obvious what happened.
Your son has infected your system!
Your self-learning(!) voice recognition system has adopted the language of your son. Don't punish him!
Try to learn this very special idiom (that in your ear sounds like mumbo jumbo) and in the future you will understand your car and your son!
Maybe you can borrow some CDs (Snoop Doog, Ice Cube, Eminem etc seems suitable) and practice....Good Luck
