VIN code query in regards to Pro Nav retrofit
Good morning,
I purchased a week ago now one January 2004 520 se E60 Saloon on a 53 plate with uber low miles and would like to have Business NAV installed.

Pro Nav is too expensive, Baby on the way hence the gokart has gone and the new sensible, but great to drive BMW 5 Series.
So many posts and information on the fourm that confuse the wotsit out of me.
Would you mind letting me know what do I need to do/order please guys?
I live in Basingstoke, Hampshire so if you know any garages that can do this modification for me please let me know.
Thanks everyone,
Birchy

There's a guy in Poland who can take care of this for you for what looks to be a reasonable fee.

Could you possibly tell me where you got your retrofit done from and how much it cost?
Cheers
Hiya mate,i'm on holiday in the state's so will be back on the forth of September,do a google search for 'Bavarian motor work's' in Huddersfield and ask for Rob,say that Sanj recommended you for doing the pro-nav retro-fit,cost will be dependent on the amount of work required but they can do this 100%,I had a lot more work done as well as the retrofit so cannot give you an accurate price.
Hi All,
I am just bought a 2003 E60 and am looking at upgrading my navigation.
Any ideas how you tell if you have SA 6UA or not? Also any ideas of a good place to pick up the required parts?
Thanks,
Ross

There are several ways you can check to see if you have the CCC Preparation (aka SA 6UA)..I don't remember all of them. Do you have the split voice/menu button by your iDrive knob? On steering wheel? Look in the boot under the carpet behind the wheel where the TCU is. Do you find a blue TCU cable hidden in electrical felt? Should be a male cable I assume as the female is in the TCU and will need to be disconnected and joined with the female to complete the navigation's ariel antennae.
I dont remember the others....and again, I am remembering U.S. spec cars. Not sure if U.K. spec are any different in those aspects.
