Yeah, taking photos is forbidden

The BMW Lifestyle shop isn't as impressive as one might hope. You get a much clearer view of their selection through their webpage.

My guess is that the new BMW Welt being built as a replacement (and much more) for the roundel museum in central M?nchen will be far more impressive once it's completed

BMW Welt

At the end of june (25) I'm visiting the Dingolfing Plant to see E60 production.
Maybe I can get a video at their 'souvenir' shop or something
Taking pics/video will probably be forbidden I think... huh I'm sure it will be forbidden!
My car is made in that period so please make sure that they assemble him well! How much did it cost to visit the plant? And how did you arrange that?

Visit BMW Plant Dingolfing and check out their site. However, the place to either call or e-mail is specified on this site.

Generally they seem very accommodating.

Last summer me and my father managed to get a tour on very short notice - and - we were the only two being toured. This allowed for a slightly more thurough tour of e.g. the body shop.

I believe it's preferred that you make the appointment a month or two in advance.
BTW: The tour was completely free. We also received a few free brochures.

yes an appointment a month or two in advance is necessary. CS of BMW will help you arrange that.
no fear the cars are all put together with the highest level of care and professionalism, those guys are no joke (german engineers afterall).
its shown on the expression of their faces and the high level of efficiency when they execute their skill. notice thier body movements, its so swift when they put together the cars.
i got a very special personal tour to the private M studio, the mechanics and technicians there looks like doctors working in critical care, you can feel they are proud to be a part of the project (porsche killers). if i can afford a M car every year, i will not blink an eye and religiously give them their check.
