Put the OEM 124s with the stock RFTs on yesterday. Today while driving home I noticed the steering effort was firmer (a good thing). But then I noticed something else - the steering wheel is vibrating, even when I'm not moving and even when the car is in neutral. I realize this should have nothing to do with the tire/wheel swap but has anyone else had anything like this? Almost like a bad motor mount, except I can only feel it in the steering wheel (its making my hands numb!)

Thoughts?

Not sure what year or model you have, if you have the Lane Departure Warning system could it's alert (s/w vibration) be stuck "on"?

Maybe your car is not parked/stopped in between two line of the lane
May be your car has advanced lane departure i.e., Advanced Parking Warning System
just kidding.......

Since your car has Active Steering I'd start there with a service visit.

Sounds like the Active Steering is playup.
Take it to the dealer and let them fit it.
Active Steering cost a bome to fix.
