Hi Guys,
It seems like this is an excellent forum, just came across it last night. I bought a 2005 545i early last month. It is a fantastic car, everything that I wanted, perfect so far. I keep it garaged just as my weekend drive, honestly I am a little scared something will go wrong and start plowing money in repair costs. But for now enjoying every minute of keeping it spotless...Hopefully will get enough time to be a regular contributor to this forum.
Cheers,
Ramsey

Don't think reliability is a problem and 05 is better than the first year 04. The original look really appeals to me. So I'm a 04 thru 07 fan. A bangle classic.
Good luck.

My Ride: 2005 545i, sport/ premium package, manual transmission, black on black. No add ons yet. Outstanding shape!
Congrats. I like the black 545/550 non LCI. I wouldn't mind two V8 fivers. Lets hope gas doesn't go to $6.

By the way, I saw that you enjoyed some driving in the alps? Must have been a great experience. I have driven in Europe before, but just non-glamourous highways from Lenze to Munich...and Brussels to Paris.

Wooo Ogg, that's a pretty good record!! I got mine with pretty high miles (88k), but it was a one owner vehicle and excellently maintained, got to review all service records before buying it. Is yours a manual as well, did you change the clutch yet? I understand that needs done around the 100k mark...
