Looks like you need a seamstress or an upholsterer. I have your seats, but don't have your problem. WTF are you doing with that leg extension anyway? Maybe you have a Tazmanian Devil under your seat

holy crap there are holes there. i am going to the dealer on thurs, when they tell me again "that is how it is" i am going to demand they open up a new 5 series and show me

That should be replaced under warranty. No doubt. Wear and tear like that on an '08? No way. Somebody missed a stitch. Take it to another dealership for replacement.

What are you doing in your car?

That's not right. I have the same, and nothing looks like that!

the leather is in great shape, except for where it isnt secured down, it has a few age wrinkle looking things. if you notice in the pics, the rest of the leather is great. gets lexol once a week

The bottom edge of the leather should have a plastic insert running the whole length - you pull and stretch the leather under the extension and the leather (W/Plastic Strip) slips into a groove under the edge to secure it.
