Version 19.1?????

My Ride: 2005 545i
My 05 545i is in the shop today to get the software updated. My previous version I believe was 15.2 (week 5 car).
The service advisor just called and told me that they need to reprogram the entire car and that the version they are putting on is version 19.1.
This is the first time I have heard of this version.
Anybody else hear this before?
They told me the car would be ready tomorrow.

My dealer in White Plains just received 17.1. !9.1 does not sound accurate.

He must have read his spec sheets without his glasses....currently dealers in East Coast are installing version 17.1 and usually the dealers in East Coast get the new software versions before the west coast. I'm guessing he means 17.1

Didn't somone write that their dealer (Florida I think) had a Beta-test version of some higher number software? Maybe that's what your dealer has.

Just to give you guys an update....
When i brought the car to the dealer this morning I mentioned about version 17.1. He said that he knows thats for the 7 series but wasn't sure if it was for the 5 series. I told him about you guys (didn't tell him the site) who were getting 17.1 and he said that then thats the version they have for the 5 too.
Another thing he mentioned was that they actualy have the update trasmitted to them when they update each car. In other words it is not installed on the machine beforehand.
When he called to tell me I asked what version they are installing and quickly asked someone in the background and they said 19.1.
I brought the car in for:
Transmission holding onto lower gears for too long (3000rpm shifts)
Voice command for satellite radio
Nav 3d view

How can they skip from 17.1 to 19.1 just like that? Maybe 18.1 is a bad luck number in Germany
