Well, basically the standard plates are letters followed by numbers for up to 7 characters total. Personalized plates have 1-6 letters and up to two numbers. Vanity plates feature either all letters or all numbers, so 'BMW E60' would be personalized, but 'BMW LXXX' would be vanity. Vanity also costs more.
Both are called personal plates here... my dad has all letters on his and I have a combination on mine. and both are called personal plates here so *shrugs*

I think we get 7 characters in AZ. I believe that some call plates that provide personal info vanity plates because they tend to be ego driven.

BEEEMER. Very original, I know. I transferred it from my previous E39 to this one.
I am thinking about switching it to either NEK BRKR or 5 ON IT, just not sure which one I like better. I realize that my car is not a NEK BRKR yet, but you can say the the driver could be (I practice Martial Arts). I am going to also order the plate HOT PEPR for my moms Cayenne that we just got her.

It was me.
Yeah, I was looking for your post from before where you showed this plate. I really liked this one. Im still trying to think of another good one but the letter number limitations make it difficult. If you had any other good ideas please message me with some...thanks,
My Dealer just called, my car is at the VPC awaiting the aero bumper.
