Touch wood nothing in the E60 so far (only had it two months) but I had a 3 series coined from corner to corner on both sides and the bonnet as well. Due to colour matching issues the dealer practically had to respray the entire car.

haha....i remembered the Michael Fay case where the US president made big news and tried to get the vandal to the US to avoid caning which was deemed to be too extreme. Forgot the details as I was only 7 at that time.
Bill Clinton was the one who tried to intervene, but thankfully the kid got his licks anyway.

And... so did Bill, for that matter.

Oh jeez.... wasn't trying to start that up.

Just making a joke. Not my fault Willy likes being felated by moo-cows.

"Oil". Jeez - these cars are pretty darn good on gas. What - they ran out of SUVs to spray?

FWIW, I know SUV's get the bad wrap but here's some thing to think about.

A couple of years ago I had both an M Roadster and (still have) a Land Rover Discovery. The Roadster had the 3.2L I6 engine while the Land Rover had a 4.0L V8 (based on the '60's era Buick Alum. V8). When I took both (1999MY) in for their first emissions test after 24 months of use guess what car was lowest by a huge margin on the readings? Yep, the V8 was recording fewer emissions than the little M Roadster.

Case two, So our family is growing and the wife decides she wants to trade in the E53 4.4L V8 for a Minivan (AWD) with a 3.3L V6. She cited rising gas prices and more room for the family in the minivan. I did all I could to talk her out of it but she won. In the end, the minivan is getting (real world) 17mpg while the V8 X5 was giving us about 21mpg.

Right now I have three cars. The 3.3L V6 Minivan, the 4.0L V8 Discovery and a 4.4L V8 E39. And the car with the best mileage also has the biggest engine.
