Model Year: 2007

Valve cover removal

I have a 2007 550I. I'm changing the passenger side valve cover. Everything has been removed including spark plug tubes. I can't move A/C line enough to make room. Any advice on how to make room. Thank you very much.

did you take bolts out of A/C line? I had no trouble moving the line down enough on mine.

Thank you so much. If you're talking about the bracket bolts, I have removed them. Are there any other bolts. Thanks again!

My Ride: Jet Black '05 545i, Sport/Premium Pkg, Steptronic, Adaptive Xenon, Nav, L7, Blue2th, PDC,

Is the strut bar still on? Is the camshaft position sensor still on the valve cover?

Remove both and with a little maneuvering the cover should come right out. I just got done doing both vc on my 545. Good luck
