Fellas, Went under the hood today to do my monthly inspection and clear out any leaves and dead bugs and noticed what I believe to be the beginnings of a valve cover gasket leak ?..
I posted pictures of the suspected leak you can notice the Mobil one discoloration on the metal I was wondering if I am correct on this diagnosis , I made an appointment with the stealership to drop off on Friday as I have 6 days from today left on my original Factory BMW warranty
. What do you guys think ? VCG leak ?.. all insight is welcomed
picture #1 is kind of a reference point on the engin to where the leak is
picture #2-3 are where the leaks seem to be comming from

Very likely a valve cover gasket leak from the images shown. With 44k on the mileage you'll usually see this happen right around now depending on who drove it and how, where the car's been parked, short or long distance driving, etc. Not a cheap fix, but very necessary to fix.

Took car to My dealer who actually is very good and very procative in correcting anything that seems to be an issue, Told my Sathe car was leaking like crazy as I wanted them to inspect everything turns out it was the oil filter housing gasket that was leaking , they checked the car top to bottom and said that it was in extreamly great condition and no other leaks were present
