in my search, I have found an 04 545i sport 6mt, blk/blk with 36k miles, everything but NAV, clean carfax, no paintwork, new tires, 2 owners, CPO through 11/2010. asking $26k,
what is it worth? it seems a bit high, but not sure. i know he won't take less than $25k
thoughts?

Seems high to me by a few grand based on what I've seen.

My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i, Titanium Silver. Bridgestone 760s on Weds Bavaria II 18" wheels, standard sport pack size. Sport, AT. Latest job - NGK Iridium IX plugs installed.
In the end, you decide whether its worth the money. And remember, you should think in terms of cost to own.

I bought the same car without CPO and in silver with 23k miles over the summer for 24750 - I also flew half way across the country and IMO it was the best low mileage deal at the time. I guess it depends what a CPO is worth to you - but to most people that is worth a lot (especially with the warranty). I wouldn't say it's a bad deal at all especially if you really want a CPO or warranty as the warranty can run thousands. I also don't know your region of the country and if your willing to travel but I bet you could find one for cheaper in NY
