sup guys im curious to know how many of you valet your cars, Do you trust the valet guys with your machine...
I for one Never ever ever Valet because I dont like anyone driving my car. I especially fear someone cracking my Hamann Lip. I once did and i had to warn the guy to watch the lip because my car was lowerd.. needless to say I was nervous as hell. here in miami if I go somewhere and lets say valet is 20 i usually pay double to park it myself right infront of where the Venue is, my girl thinks im nuts but it beats paying 1300 for another lip and not to mention peace of mind..
I also know people who have valet in the past and iv'e heard crazyyy stories about things coming up missing from major things down to just loose change in the car and that always makes me un easy...
If you have a story about a valet exp please share.. wondering how many of you Valet choose not to or go the 3rd route which is pay more to park right infront your self..

Depends on the establishment. For upper end restaurants pr jpte;s where they are just going around the corner for covered parking, I'll let them do it. Airport valet or medium end restaurants/hotels, I typically do it myself. They don't pay those valet's enough, so I know they get the remainder of their compensation out of the driving experience.

I hate using valets and I don't if I have a choice. In my apartment building's garage, I have no options but to have the parking attendants park my cars. I tip them well every day, give them big holiday tips and am buddy buddy with the garage manager. And as a result, my car is kept pristine by them.

As a former valet, I never valet park my car. I would never valet a sports car. Trust me. Don't do it...if you have a choice.

Dude I wont even valet a corolla!
3 of my teenage cousins do valet and I talk to them about it and they even tell me to NEVER valet. Lets see... just my cousin alone... he's totaled a WRX, burned out the clutch on a S2000, and cracked a bumper on some other car. Yes he's been fired from the job but manages to find another valet job and get himself fired from that. No matter how "professional" they look valets dont care. its not their car. they're jealous (Its human nature) of you having a nicer car than them.
