Hey Guys !
Lots of us V8 guys have a common love, whether it's the sound of the engine gearing down from a high speed run or the low end torque off the line , the smooth power curve or the lovely little rumble at a stop light or................. ?? let's hear your reason(s) !
Cheers

All my vehicles (until the 535i) have been V8's and there is no subsitute!! My current V8 is a 5.4 L 4V supercharged Shelby vert and it is an absolute BLAST to drive. There are so many things I like about a high hp V8 it's hard to pick a favorite, but I would have to say the sound of the "backburbble" between shifts is awesome as well as the sound of the engine screaming under WOT conditions, the exhaust when slowing to a stop in gear....there is also the shifting through the gears with the V8 that feels/sounds so great....and from a piece of mind perspective - the rock solid sturdiness/durability of the typical V8 - all good things for sure
The only dowside to the the V8's (and I choose to live with this) is the added weight and poor fuel economy...but if you want the ponies in the barn - you have to feed them
