My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.
I had many things done for my 15k service, new tires (finally), door seals... and of course new software - version 18.x.
I do not have nav and have not re-enabled my blue tooth yet, so I have not seen all of the improvements.
Last time I had the s/w upgraded was when I did the blue tooth install last October and think I had v13.x.
I was driving an X3 as a loaner, which had a very touchy throttle.
Getting back into my 545i, it seemed like the throttle was much smoother. It always seemed like there was a little dead spot when you first stepped on the accelerator which I am not noticing now.
So, I am not sure if something was improved with the accelerator, or if I just got used to the touchy X3 throttle after driving it for four days.
Any comments with the all of the improvements since last November?
BTW: I did not realize how bad my tires where - quite and smooth is so nice! I had reported the noise problem at 7k miles, just held off with the tires to burn the old ones up a bit, which was fun.

I think throttle response / smoothness improved starting with 16.x.

Especially when driving a manual.
