if anyone has access to SIB (Service Info Bulletins)... the # in the USA for the V18 upgrade is 61 14 03

Maybe not a few minutes but certainly less than half a day's work perhaps?

It depends on the dealer. Some need to do it overnight or others up to 2 days.

I'll get it back on Wednesday, after eight days at the dealer. Not for software update only...

Wow, I was excited when I saw the topic of this post, but disappointed to hear that we're talking about software versions and not a new engine size.

I hear CIP 18.0 contains hardly any new E60 software comapred to CIP 17

i dont have nav on my bmw...and my dealer told me i can't get the mp3 upgrade software. anyone have any tips advice comments questions or concerns?
