Default Used my seat afterburners last night for first time

Last night about 3am it was pretty darn cold here in NC. Used my seat heaters for the first time ever and let me tell you, it was nice to have. Was about 26 outside.

BMW seat warmers are amazing! So is the heated steering wheel!

And the seats and steering wheel heat up amazingly fast, unlike those in other cars I've had. I got the rear heated seats as well and my kids love them.

I agree, heated seats and steering wheel help a lot when you jump into the car from the cold. I love it but when you have it on setting 3 it starts to cook your azz LOL.

+1, i turn on all the heated seats and wheel in attempts to warm the car up a little faster. hahah

I didnt notice if my steering wheel was heated. I have lots of bells and whistles on my 550. Will have to check.

I got my e60 in hawaii, never thought that I would need heated seats or steering wheel. now I moved to WA and kinda wished that I had these features. :/

04 530i pass seat caught on fire. Took it to BMW showed them the hole, you could see the element. They had never seen this before, they offered to pay half, my half would have been $900.

There is a thread on here about some peoples seats catching on fire. I believe the problem was on the pre-lci models.
