My Ride: 530d Touring, pro nav, Logic7, leather, 18 inch, steptronic
I'm going to receive a 530d Touring with USB connection... anyone experienced what's better to connect? an ipod or a usb HD? which is faster to navigate by idrive???

I'm using a 4GB stick from Kington and it works peeerfect!
As said, USB HDD's is not recommended...

That's strange... HD or Stick (so flash) should be seen as the same memory device...

Not to mention the block sizes and format can be (and often are) quite different.
I guess you guys don't often mount USB mass storage devices in non-Windows environments much...
