Can you clarify? Which invoice? Which service record? I imagine they wouldn't show me what they purchased the car for, would they? By service record do you mean the service cost for CPOing the car?

the service record is there is a detail bill regarding abt what they change on the car and how much.
the invoice they will give it to u if u ask for it. CPOing the car is the part that cost the most .. usually it cost them 400 - 500 to COP the car but they will mark up $2000 for that.

If this is your perfect car; then go buy it. When you get it home, $500 either way won't mean squat, but if you pass, you will be looking over your shoulder.

Supposed to talk to someone in 20 minutes about this car again. I think I figured out that this is a lease buyback (considering the car is exactly 3 years plus the number of days on the lot since the in-service date). Is the cost of a lease buyback to a dealer the same as an auction?

most of the CPO's were lease buybacks. i have no idea if it is the same as an auction. but i am not sure if lease buyback and invoice are really going to help you. the MSRP on my car was 54k but that didn't help me negotiate a price on it 3 years after it was leased.
