URGENT: Power window won't pull up Anti-trap function deactivted

Default URGENT: Power window won't pull up Anti-trap function deactivted

I was driving at 40mph, i pressed on rear driver side window down button from my drivers seat..i heard some cracking noise... the windows went down and immediately i saw message in idrive "Anti-trap function deactivted".... now windows is not going up..... can't drive car like this... what shall i do ? thanks

more than likely it is the window regulator. they are notorious for going out. when u press the window button do you hear the motor running still? if so then you know its not the motor.

Yes that's exactly what's going on.. I hear the motor running ... Do you think it will be covered by CPO warranty ? Can I manually pull up the window ?

BMW should cover that. You can but I wouldn't do that. Go to the dealership first thing in the morning and they will have to take you in. these go bad on a regular basis, and they stock these in the dealerships.

Yes CPO covered it ,,had to pay $50.00 deductible..
