Since I got CIP 17.1 i lost TMC (traffic info in Europe). Even though TMC is ticked in settings and I tune on the right station, I never get TMC signal on the bottom of the screen whereas it worked in 16.0.

Any idea ?

 

I don't think you will get any help from us here in the US of A since we do not have TMC yet!!!!!!!!!!!

 

It looks like we should skip 17.1? One lost BT and one lost TMC. Hope that dealer screwed up. Not BMW.

I have got my first upgrade last wednesday (no problem but adding a tow bar). I am not 100% sure my CIP is 17.1 but before I have TMC on the station "Inter" and now its on "Radio traffic". This information is also written in the secret menu in the sub menu TMC.
My TMC is working but in south west of France there is few messages.
By the way how can I be sure to have 17.1 ?

It's very likely 17.1 which is out in France since mid June.
What do you mean by secret menu in sub menu TMC ?
Also, are you amber (orange) LEDs still working when headlights on ?

Thanks. Will check. I still get TMC with AUTO-FM on motorways but lost France-Inter - the only TMC provider in Paris for local traffic. Is R-Trafic local radio ?
I lost my amber LEDs since 17.1 as many members on this forum (actually since 16.1).
