upgraded 525/530 release date?

Hi all,
Does anyone know when the 525i/530i with the upgraded engines wil be coming out for sale in the US? How about for ED? I called a local dealer, and he said in the fall. However, I'm skeptical of what the dealer says, as they probably want to unload their current inventory of 525i/530i's

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

My Ride: E39 525d, orient blue with beige interior. Planing on getting an E60 535d next summer when my lease on my E39 is over :)
Any news on the updated 530d and 535d??

My dealer indicated that 2006 530xi could be ordered at end of March for May delivery in NY; my understanding is it will have the new R6 engine as well (though I've heard conflicting things on whether Active Steering will be included in the Sport Package, or just be a stand alone option).
