Any chance you could take a picture of your iDrive screen...Lots of folks have been trying to figure out a way to tell if they have gotten the software update...if the screen looks different that might be a way to tell

I do not think it is possible to check the software version by the end user. Many 135,335,535 owners are trying to determine which software they have because anything 29.2 or higher will not allow you to tune the motor as liberally. As far as I know the only way to tell would be if there was in fact a change in the graphics/look of the idrive.
