Hey, @spunkmtb

Did you have any luck with the andream unit?

I’m currently looking at the same head units (Dynavin, Andream etc) for my ‘08 E60, would love to hear any initial feedback you might have on the unit you picked up.

This is interesting, I have been enquiring with suppliers of these Android head units and so far I keep being told:

(a) you can have fast boot time (with "auto sleep" setting) but you will eat your battery pretty quickly (like, in a couple of days of sitting undriven) in this mode;
(b) you can preserve your battery but need 30-40 seconds to boot.

This is even with a recent, Android 10, 4GB/64GB snapdragon device.

How have you been finding the battery draw?
