Default Updating transmission via inpa ?

Right I've been doing some reading and there a few Threads where people have updated there transmission via inpa to success and there's also older threads where they advise not to because there's a chance you can brick the ecu, so rather a dealer do it.

Anyone done this lately themselves.

I think he means program. And he probably means winkfp.

I think you'd be better of at the dealer, unless you have a battery power supply that can handle at least 60A and know how to code/program your car correctly. Other then that dont risk it.

yea, if you're updating EGS software then thats WinKFP, and that's not something I'd advise a novice doing because you can definitely brick a module if not done properly.

If you just want to reset adaptations, that can be done with INPA and is pretty fool-proof.

good luck.
