Do you have to buy a new DVD to update the navigation in an older e60 to get the newest maps and streets. If so, what does this run or is it part of the 4 year mfr warranty. Tks

You have to buy the new DVD. Price is 200 at the dealer but there are "other" ways to get it if you search around. Many people (myself included) have not had much luck with other than OEM DVDs.

Unfortunately this will not update your CCC. You will only get the newest points of interest and a few map colors may change but it depends on the CCC software. You may have to actually update your CCC software first. Perhaps you have the older interface look. However, keep in mind that it will not give you the look of the CIC system. You did mention a 4 yr. warranty though so what year is your vehicle?
