cobradav, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

Now, time for a stupid question: Is there anywhere I can go to see more detail regarding a specific SIB, or do I just need to search the forums to see if someone has posted info on the bulletin in question?

No, not a stupid question. Some of us post bulletins when we respond to problems members have. But not normally just to post for general info. If you can pick out some unique words out of the title try searching using that word. If no joy then let me know and I can generally get it. For considerable time the door was open into alldatas' database and one could have found them there, but that door was slammed shut about a month or so ago.

Guys just substitute your SIB eg 12 34 56 as 123456 below.

http://www.bmwtis.com/tsb/bulletins/bullet...mp/B123456g.htm

eg SIB 24 03 05 becomes

http://www.bmwtis.com/tsb/bulletins/bullet...mp/B240305g.htm

Thanks for the reminder, colejl

Remember these are BMW NA SIBs and may or may not apply to RoW.
