Forgive the noob question, but how does one go about installing a trunk finisher? 3M tape? After getting it painted, is this an easy mod anyone could do? Thanks. Also, are there both OEM and rep trunk finishers like everything else?

Wheels, wheels, wheels!

166 are sweet...or 172 since you're staying OEM..

Modding will not end as long as this web address remains in your browser history!!

So I'm trying to narrow down my choices. I've always favored 166s, and my lady prefers the 167s. But now I"m starting to like the 172s. I've been leaning toward OEM, but a friend of mine suggested that I go aftermarket. He thinks that I'm crazy to spend that much on OEM rims. OEM fitment and ride seem to be best, though it would be nice to be a little unique and original.

What would you guys do? I need your opinion on wheels for my ride pictured above (original post) I'm trying to keep it under $2k for rims and tires, which is why I've been looking at used sets. What other used aftermarket wheels are available to me for this price? Pics would be most welcome if it's not too much trouble.

Lastly, I have the stock SPORT suspension. To me the ride feels just right and I'd like to avoid lowering if at all possible. Also looking for a set that will fill the wheel enough so it won't look silly. Thanks!

Car looks awesome, good job! I'd go for wheels and M5 mirros next.

Don't cheap out on wheels. I bought cheap Breyton reps for my E61 and regretted it pretty much from day one. Lesson learned anyway and now I'd rather buy used high quality wheels over new budget ones...

Go for 166's!
They would look awesome on alpine white! Not so commonly seen I think (at least here... )

It's been a while since I posted updated pics of my ride. I haven't done much over the winter months but I did pick up LCI tails and installed a trunk finisher.
I also have a RDSport roof spoiler to get painted, and will install it when it gets warmer.
