sorry guys let me ask a stupid question as you are 90% testing US do you think that CIP 20+ would also slow down our "diesel" cars ??? I am curious as I am before my update should do or not? OK maybe you can just guess, but better not knowing THX!
Hey Don, I learned more from this thread than ever thx 2 all.
Thanks much ats. I think the problem is that I can't turn DSC/DTC off competely. There is a current topic on this issue. Even though my car has regained much of its quickness, through post-20.01.00 learning I presume, I still do not have the power off the line that I once had. My best evidence is my current inability to get wheel spin without trying pretty hard. I used to have to work hard not to have excessive wheel spin. Note that 20.01.00 apparently has had no negative effects on grogan545's car. I can't begin to guess which cars my be affected badly. I can only say that I would not do 20.01.00 again simply for MP3 capability. Why would you consider getting a 20+ update?

Excellent data, I appreciate your efforts, Znod!

I suppose the data offer reasons for optimism, or at least parity, assuming you get to even with the previous software.

However, data is boring compared to the feel of being behind the wheel of a 545.
So how does it FEEL, Znod? Is there still the heaviness/slugishness that I am feeling after only 2 drive cycles after the 20.01 "upgrade"?
The heaviness is still there off the line--but not quite so much.

I just got my car back and dealer decided to upgrade my software because after turning off the car there was a hissing noise from the speakers. It only happened once, but they decided to upgrade the software. I didnt notice any problems with the new version, actualy I think my car feels faster, seems to hold the gears longer in sport mode.
