Hi Guys...
A few months ago I came to you folks asking if the 530 was right for me. Since this time, I have invested in a property, and at 26, I am on my way to being a grown up...finally. Mortgage payments never felt better. No more rent.
Well I have a problem now. I went looking at the 330/325i for 06, and talked to the dealer. I had a heart attack when they pitched me a lease number for a 330i. 750 a month! Zero down, MSRP, with low residuals and a high MF. I marched out of the dealer, and thought my days with BMW were numbered. But someone mentioned to me the 5 series have good leases? Could it be a 530 is leasing out better than a 330i?
I am scheduled to meet with a different dealer today at 12:00, and I am going to see what the offer is on a 530 or 545. Just to see where the ball falls.
Where do you think a 2006 530i with premuim, xenon (std?) logic 7, cold weather, 6 speed manual might fall in a 36month lease with zero down, 12,000 miles a year fees and aquisiton fees be? Last time i looked I was offered 650 a month...
Anyone have 2006 pricing? Is a 545 lease out better for just a bit more?
Should I just look else where right now? Tough time to be turning in a lease huh!
thanks...

Welcome aboard, Xenonlights7
I am not sure how leases are calculated, since I never had leases on vehicles. But Xenon's are not standard. It's stand alone option. I believe costs are about $700 range.

I think your best deal will be on a 2005 530i vs. any 2006 model. While the rates are not out yet for MY06 5-series, I think they will keep the 05 money factors low (March rates are the same as Feb, April ??), under pricing the 06 models. Otherwise dealers are going to have a hard time moving the 05. In terms of MY06, the 5- series will not undercut the 3 series. The 3-series launch is too important & I can't imagine BMW would do anything to cloud the picture.

If you lease, depreciation doesn't matter. He also just bought a house, and I think trying to balance priorities. Enthusiast aren't just about hp.

For 05 530I at the spec you looking for should come out around $700 for lease/36 months. And your credit should be above 730. My friend just leases a new 330I basic for $499.
